Samantha Jayne

(ABOUT ME)

Where the Spark Began!

Samantha Jayne had a little light ignite to become a marriage celebrant when she got married in 2013. A little spark that made me realise how powerful, emotional and filled with joy your ceremony can be. This light lit up and never left me. Your ceremony shouldn’t be boring; it's such a celebration. You’re committing yourself to one person for life. You’re making your team official.

That moment inspired me to become a celebrant. So in 2024, I studied and became registered in 2025. My goal is to be your celebrant, a celebrant who creates ceremonies just as you want, a celebrant who has your back, listening, absorbing and reiterating that in a happy and fun way to set the tone for your day.

Now every time I stand with a couple, I am reminded why I do this. I get to be a part of one of the most significant moments in your life - and to be honest, I am honoured, and I never take it for granted.

Samantha Jayne was born from a dream, lit by that little light, and built on the belief that every couple deserves the best ceremony they can have!

Why couples choose Samantha Jayne Celebrancy

Your ceremony deserves more than just a let’s get through it.

I create ceremonies that are fun, humbling, heartfelt and all about you. The kind of ceremony that leaves you feeling all the feels.

A personalised ceremony, tailored to you and your story and crafted in a way that feels natural and meaningful.

Weddings are pretty full on. I bring calm and guidance at every step. I handle all the legal details and make the process easy and stress-free.

Together, we will craft a ceremony that will get your guests laughing, crying, and feeling totally connected to you. I’ll help you with vows, advice, rehearsals - I’ve got you.

It is truly an honour to stand with you, and I mean that. This isn’t just a job for me, I love being a part of your moment, and I will treat it (and you) with the energy and passion it deserves.

Locations I Service -

Throughout the Darling Downs region. Toowoomba, Dalby, Warwick, Goondiwindi & Stanthorpe.  I will also travel to Chinchilla, Oakey, Milmerran, Pittsworth & Inglewood. Heck, I’ll even go to Brisbane and the surrounds!

I’m always open to exploring new places, interstate and overseas too!!!

DoYou Want To Know Me Some More?

I like Pina Colada’s and getting caught in the rain….. STOP - every time I have to answer this question this song goes through my brain! Thank you Rupert Holmes. I mean I love a Pina Colada, but rain aint my thang!

I like to think of myself as someone who other people enjoy being around. I like to make people laugh, tell them funny stories about myself or my husband or my kids, some people might call it oversharing but really, I just want everyone to laugh. There isn’t anything better than a big old belly laugh.

In my natural habitat you can find me hanging out with my kids and my husband. I love spending time with my family and friends, they’re all very important to me and they make me happy.

I love music, all kinds and dancing. Movie nights with movie salad*. Coffee before chats in the morning, sweet treats, random chats with strangers. A clean house and a freshly mowed yard and then there is nothing better than enjoying all the hard work with a beer or glass of wine.

*movie salad is a bag of popcorn, a bag of skittles, a bag of maltesers, mixed in a bowl. FYI - don't add the sweet treats until the popcorn has cooled.

From First Hello to "I Do"

(The Process)

You got engaged

(OH CONGRATS),  fixed a wedding date, booked a venue - now what?

You book your celebrant, silly!!

Enquire with me to confirm your date is available, maybe even have a 30-minute chat with me to see if you like me. Nah, Sam - we love ya. If you do want to have a 30-minute chat -

Check your inbox, I will have sent you a bunch of emails of next steps and we will arrange to have a drink “meeting” to fill out the legal paperwork and chat about all things wedding - actually I can’t guarantee it will be all wedding talk. I never know where conversations will go.

The planning begins, I write the script, you write your vows (if you want), or I can help with those too.

We plan some more, we practice and bibidi bobidi boo we are ready for the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What venues do you work at?

Any venue - I don’t discriminate here!! (FYI - I wont jump out of a plane and hot air balloons are iffy).

  • Do you have any vendor recommendations?

Yes, I can help point you in the direction of some great local vendors!

  • Do you chat with the photographer/videographer on the key moments?

Sure do!! And I’ll make sure I am not in their way either!

  • Do you help manage the guests before the ceremony?

Not only will I manage them, I’ll be chatting to them!

  • How do you handle rehearsals for location weddings?

I am happy to do a rehearsal, and it doesn’t necessarily have to be at the venue. If I can’t be there, I will give you a guide on doing the rehearsal yourself. If it’s a venue I haven’t been to before,  I will always arrive ahead of time to make sure it’s all good! ,
